Pierre Hinds – Vice President of Wine Sales and Operations
Mr. Hinds is responsible for selection of Mint Internationals Wine Portfolio. Since the inception of Mint Ventures, Mr. Hinds has been directly involved in building and maintaining the relationships with our wineries, vendors, as well as customers. Mr. Hinds has over 7 years’ worth of experience in operations, vendor evaluation, and product processing. This includes meeting face to face with the wineries, conducting demos with vendors, and at trade shows. His work includes overseeing the approval of permits with both US and State Government agencies. This includes the approval of bottle labels with the TTB. Mr. Hinds also educates /conducts wine tastings for current Wine Enthusiast and those looking to become Oenophilias. Mr. Hinds is a graduate of Texas State University, formerly known as Southwest Texas State University, earning a degree with a Major in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. While attending Texas State, he became a member of the Fraternity Pi Kappa Phi as well as being Manager of the World Famous Texas State Strutters Drill Team.
After graduating Mr. Hinds became a Chemist in the Oil and Gas Industry helping to manage the day to day operations of a Research and Development Laboratory. During his time in the industry, he developed a number of products that helped change the industry, whilst also doing work that put his name on two United States Patents.
In his free time Mr. Hinds enjoys traveling, having new experiences (food, drinks, cultures), Football (both World and American), and riding his Motorcycle. He is also a Car Enthusiast, enjoying both the aesthetics of automobiles as well as the thrill of driving them.
