Global Marketing Select’s goal is to assist our client by catering to their needs in the United States market using our knowledge, skills, and expertise to ensure your success! We believe “Your success is our success!” In order to be successful there are areas in which we ensure are in place to help our client build their products brand.
1. Regulatory and Compliance Needs
Global Marketing Select will assist their client from start to finish. This begins with the United States regulatory and compliance requirements. Global Marketing Select will be sure to inform the client of all FDA/TTB requirements and assist in any additional requirements to be approved for importation as stated under SECTION FOUR Import Services.
2. Appropriate Importation & Distribution Strategy
Global Marketing Select partners with Mint Ventures LLC to utilize its distribution partnerships and relationships as well as their retail relationships to introduce the client’s new products. After the initial assessment is completed for the client, distribution efforts will start with the Gulf Coast Market and expand to each additional market in the United States prioritizing where demand is present. During this process Global Marketing Select will be reaching out to retailers as well as distributors to find product placement. This will essentially be a two part process combined. Global Marketing Select will work diligently but with a focused approach to ensure each market is built with a strong foundation.
3 .Commission Structure/General Business Model of GMS
Global Marketing Select’s business model is very different than most importers. Global Marketing Select’s success over the past years has emerged due to loyalty, dedication, first rate customer service, and being strategic. All of Global Marketing Select’s current clientele has been very successful in the US Market. All of Global Marketing Select’s clients were not previously in the United States Market prior to working with them. Global Marketing Select looks to partner with clients who are willing to partner with an importer who is willing to invest in their own product! Global Marketing Select works on a shared risk, shared reward partnership. Global Marketing Select travels on a weekly basis meeting with distributors and retailers to obtain product placement. Monthly retainers required by suppliers are small investments to assist with company salaries as well as traveling expenses (i.e.: rental cars, gas, flights, hotels, etc), which in turn obtains product placement and consistent regular reorders for the client.
4. Appropriate Geographic Focus
Global Marketing Select does extensive research on each market regarding each client’s product(s). Global Marketing Select researches the population of the market, type of consumers, type of stores in the market, needs of the market consumer, etc. After taking all factors into account and ensuring the product would be a good fit for that market, Global Marketing Select focuses on that geographic region to ensure a foundation is built before focusing on other markets.
5. Experience of Appropriate Routes to Market/Trade Channels
Global Marketing Select has been successful through hard work, dedication, loyalty, and putting relationships first. Global Marketing Select has been given opportunities due to their work history and their relationships with distributors and retailers. Global Marketing Select is a company that will “Get the job done!” Global Marketing Select has been known to be resourceful, think outside the box, and accomplish the goal to make everyone successful!
6. The Consumers
Global Marketing Select believes in “ALWAYS” knowing who your audience is! This is discussed back in KEY ISSUE number four when discussing “Appropriate Geographic Focus”. As previously stated Global Marketing Select does extensive research on each market and the consumers. Global Marketing Select understands the value of time and the effect if products are being marketed to the wrong clientele. Global Marketing Select will communicate extensively and on a minimum of a weekly basis to the client regarding their findings and ensure that proper marketing activities are consistently implemented to target the intended consumer and to obtain the ultimate goal.
7. Brand Development & Funding Of Marketing Activities
Brand Development is very important and will not happen overnight. Global Marketing Select assists to help provide marketing strategies/activities where appropriate. Global Marketing Select also can provide recommended Public Relations assistance in the United States if needed. Funding of marketing activities is the responsibility of the supplier. Global Marketing Select assists in sharing costs of select marketing efforts with the client at their discretion.

GLOBAL MARKETING SELECT LLC (GMS) OUTLINE PLAN OF ACTION
OPTIONAL: Global Marketing Select will assist in developing a business and marketing plan for the products for importation.
Time Frame: 1-2 months
*Unless both business and marketing plan has been developed for the US market and can be provided for our review.*
Phase 1: Global Marketing Select will complete a market assessment within 1 month containing real time feedback from distributors and retailers. During this time Global Marketing Select will provide (if applicable) recommendations on the product’s Packaging, Pricing, and the overall Product. This will help the client determine if there are any adjustments that need to be made prior to importation of the product to ensure the products success.
Time Frame: 1 month
Phase 2: After an assessment has been complete, Global Marketing Select will continue working with the client in the strategic planning stage. This consists of a market entry strategy, product proposition evaluation, sales and profitability projection goals, distribution and retail channel goals and ensuring all compliance is complete so products can be ready for importation.
Time Frame: 2 months
Phase 3: After pre-sale efforts have built up, GMS will then start the process of transiting the client to Mint Ventures LLC for their importing needs. Mint Ventures is a federally and state licensed importer. Mint Ventures will then assist the client with compliance needs including label approvals, importing the product, distribute accordingly to their clients as well as increase sales to move current inventory in stock. At this time since product will be readily available and in stock Mint Ventures would then highly encourage their suppliers to visit the US market to assist with sales efforts and see the progress that has been made. The recommended time frame for visiting is approximately 1 week at max per quarter. During this time Mint Ventures will schedule meetings typically 1-3 meetings a day with a combination of distributors and retailers to obtain placements. Please also be advised that a Mint Ventures sales expert will attend each meeting with the supplier to introduce the client to the distributor and retail contacts in the USA market.
Time Frame: 2 months
OPTIONAL: After 9-12 months of Mint Ventures working with a client in the USA market, they highly recommend hiring a PR/Marketing Company to assist with a social media campaign. Please be advised this is very important to help push sales. This would include things like Facebook, Twitter, creating a US webpage (if needed), compose Press Releases, organize/coordinate tasting events, etc. Please note that these services are not a part of Global Marketing Select/Mint Ventures costs. This will need to be outsourced to another company. Global Marketing Select/Mint Ventures has relationships with PR/Marketing Companies that they are currently doing business with as well as priced very competitively compared to most competition. Additionally, they are a company that has a track history to perform and execute tasks as promised.

Phase 4: Global Marketing Select recommends and highly encourages suppliers to come visit the market in once a quarter after the product has been stabilized after importation has taken place. This helps for the supplier to see where things stand in the US market, it helps the supplier to meet clients and potential clients while supporting to help obtain placements in the US market.
